Welcome to the FEW homepage, Mission Te Few is a family-oriented guild in a quite literal way - the core members are all family or fiercely loyal friends. Few have been around for a long time and we plan on being around for a long time to come. We are committed to supporting each other, making sure needs are met, and working towards common goals. We are a team, and we expect each member of the team to contribute to the whole. We have members of every level and routinely schedule events ranging from the Ramps to a 10-man raid in Kara. We are a Semi-raiding guild that would like to see the end game instances and are working toward that end. It is our purpose to create a warm and comfortable home for our members, even if it's not a mansion. We are actively recruiting, especially if you are a caster or healer. And if you are wondering what Few means, it means a Few friends online playing. So I hope you enjoy Few as much as I do.
Guild Forums.
The guild forums serve as the main out-of-game communication channel. Our Rules and Charters are required reading of our membership (for both our own members and our allies), and can be found in the public section of the forums. In addition, guild meetings, announcements, raids, and events will be posted in the Members section.
Ventrilo.
The Few has a dedicated Ventrilo server for real-time voice communication. Connection information can be found in the Members forum or in game from guild info tab. Use of Ventrilo requires a microphone/speaker or headset, as well as installation of the free Ventrilo Client application. Ventrilo may be acquired at
www.ventrilo.com.
Guild Meetings.
Guild Meetings will be held on a routine basis (or as emergency dictates) to discuss guild events and issues. Meetings will be posted at least 1 week in advance in the forums.
Guild Bank.
The Few has a guild bank for our tremendous amount of goods. Donations may be mailed directly to any officer, hand delivered at the close of guild meetings, or mailed en masse to any officer, who will distribute them among the other bankers. Raw resources will be warehoused and disbursed as necessary to our tradeskillers. Equipment items maybe be sold for guild funds, disenchanted, or warehoused at the discretion of our bankers. Anyone wanting anything from bank may ask an officer for items or mats. That’s what they are there for.
Guild rules
1. No drama....treat others outside and inside guild with respect. A occasional slip is fine but repeated outbursts really are not funny so please don't use profanity or off color jokes that may offend people 2. No ninja...please don't ninja items from others, inside or outside guild... We generally all pass on BOP then roll for them after 3. No begging...under not circumstances is begging acceptable...please don't beg for run thrus from guildies or outside guild. Remember they deserve to play too and may not want to spend their time running you thru every low lvl instance in game. No begging for money in guild chat or general/trade, that is completely not acceptable.
Leaving the Few
We are well aware the circumstances change in the lives of our players - friends join other guilds, time zones change, life happens. Conflicts arise that make it impossible for players to attend our events. Players advance quickly and find they've outgrown us. We understand this. We don't want to hold anyone back from enjoying the game to the fullest. But we also can't make every member happy. We know there are circumstances under which people will leave the guild. In the event a member does wish to leave the Few, they will be welcome to rejoin so long as said player left in good standing and remain registered in our forums. In short, don't burn your bridges - it's always nice to be able to come home.
